Setup guide

The first schedule should take minutes, not a rollout project.

Rostora starts with one workspace, one default week, and the exceptions that keep that week honest. Integrations can wait until the team trusts the grid.

First setup path

  • Create a workspace and choose the country used for public holidays.
  • Add departments or floors so the schedule can be filtered by the way the team works.
  • Set the default week: office, remote, partial-day, sick, holiday, or day-off status.
  • Share the invite link, then let people adjust only the days that change.

Prepare before starting

  • Workspace name.
  • Primary country for public holidays.
  • Department or floor names if you want filters on day one.
  • A short team list or invite link audience.

Not required on day one

  • No credit card for the Free workspace.
  • No desk map or room-booking setup.
  • No SSO or SCIM project for the first workspace.
  • No Slack or Google Calendar connection required to inspect the core schedule.

After the first week

  • Invite the rest of the team once the default week looks right.
  • Use time-off requests and one-day overrides for changes.
  • Connect Slack or Google Calendar only when Team features are needed.
  • Export CSVs if you need to review or leave later.

Want to inspect it first?

The demo shows the schedule, requests, analytics, and admin surfaces before you create your own workspace. The Free path does not require a card.
